Shortlake Cottage

Shortlake Cottage, Shortlake Farm, Osmington, Dorset DT3 6EF

Although recently built, this building actually seems older than the farmhouse it's next to. With oak beamed roof trusses and stone walls inside and out there is a sense of permanence about this place.

Shortlake Cottage is located just off a quiet no-through-road and looks out over fields to the coast beyond. As well as the views, the SW Coastpath is nearby for walks into Weymouth (3m) and Lulworth Cove (7m). Osmington village with The Sly Fox pub, and a couple of small shops, is about a 5 minutes walk away. The walk to Shortlake Farm's private beach takes just 10 minutes or so across the fields.

Living Room .

As you enter into Shortlake Cottage through the front door, you are welcomed by the open plan living room/ dining room. This lovely open planed space has a TV, sofa, a selection of board games/ magazines and a dining table. There is also a small utility to the side of this room, which has a washing machine if needed.

Kitchen

At the cottage you can find a fully equip kitchen which includes a cooker, hob, toaster. microwave, kettle, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is also a second kitchen table. The kitchn is also well stocked all essentials including cutlery, plates. bowls, mugs, glasses and cooking equipment.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom can be found downstairs and has an abundance of natural light from both sides of the bedroom. The Jack and Jill bathroom is adjoined to the master bedroom.
