Farm Shop

Eweleaze farm shop is open during the camping season every day from 8 am to 9.30 pm (Shortlake 8am-9pm) We stock a large range of mostly organic produce.

In the farmyard we have a range of shops and catering outlets, selling mostly organic produce.

Farm Shop - beef, lamb, pork, chicken, eggs, milk, cheese, bread, vegetables, beers, ciders, wines, gas, logs, camping gear, ice pack exchange etc.
Bakery - a range of organic breads, rolls, baguettes and pittas
Patisserie - croissants, cakes, flapjacks, savouries
Hot Food - chips, pies, sausage rolls,jacket potatoes, filled baguettes
Ice Cream Parlour - ice creams, whippies, sorbets
Pizza Van - fresh made-to-order stone baked wood fired pizzas
Charcoal Grill - breakfast rolls, burgers, steaks, kebabs, pulled pork rolls
The Veg Box - vegan and vegetarian meals and salads
Crepe Bar - fresh made to order filled sweet & savoury crepes
Barn Restaurant - candlelit restuarant in the old threshing barn
The Tent Cafe - coffee, croissants, beer, cider, snacks

Organic Meat

Beef
Most of the beef we supply is from organic Aberdeen Angus cattle. The animals are completely grass fed, and the meat is hung for 3-4 weeks to develop the flavour and texture. Generally available cuts are: fillet, sirloin, rump and some ribeye steaks. Top rump cut as flash fry steak and mince are usually available, as are silverside/topside joint which many of our customers take home.

Beef burgers
These are made from Angus beef, and are full of flavour. They are seasoned only with salt so the flavour of the meat can come through.

Lamb
Our lamb supplier this year is yet to be confirmed, but they will be organically produced and we are hoping to source rare/native breed animals for their better flavour. We stock loin, chup and barnsley chops, leg steaks (our favourite!), shoulder steaks/chops, leg and shoulder joints, sausages and burgers.

Pork
We don't keep our own pigs, so we select local supplier(s) of premium pork to supply our shop and catering outlets. The pork we choose is always free range, and usually from traditional pig breeds, grazing natural environments. We also stock charcuterie products from Capreolus Fine Foods in Rampisham, Dorset. This is a small artisan smokehouse that specialises in the production of cured, air dried and smoked meats.

Venison
To be confirmed this year. If available again it will be wild venision in the form of steaks and sausages and ready to eat sliced meats.

Cheeses
Lye Cross organic cheddar
Ford Farm Coastal and Wookey Hole cheddar from just the other side of Weymouth

Organic Fruit and Veg
We stock a range of organic veg, including: tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, radish, rocket, spinach, pepper, potatoes, beetroot, cabbage, carrots, courgettes, french beans, sweetcorn, onions, garlic etc.

Where possible we source these from local suppliers.

Organic Bread, Croissants and Pastries

This year we will again be operating our own on-site bakery and patisserie, producing a range of organic breads. We produce a range of white and brown loaves, bagettes and rolls, as well as some specials including long fermentation, malted five seed, olive & rosemary, raisin & walnut, fruit bread etc.

In addition we will be baking organic pastries, and serving cakes and traybakes from Jessica's Farmhouse Cakes in Bridport.

If you require wheat and/or gluten free bread please speak with the baker who will be pleased to help out.

Alcoholic and Soft Drinks

Local and Organic Beer
We offer a range of bottle real ales from some local breweries:

Purbeck Brewery - Solar Power, Fossil Fuel, Studland, Best and IPA
Dorset Brewing Company - Chesil, Durdle Door, Jurassic, Silent Knight
Dorset Piddle Brewery - Piddle and the very good Silent Slasher
We also stock normal canned and bottled lagers and beers.

Wines
We supply a range of organic wines including the popular Touchstone range, as well as a large range of old world and new world wines. We will again be stocking the popular Sherborne Castle white, produced in Dorset.

Ciders
Perrys produce a range of single apple variety and blended ciders
Sheppys Ciders from Taunton
Westons supply us with their range of vintage and organic ciders, including their Vintage reserve, Premium Organic and Organic Pear ciders.
Bridge Farm will again be supplying us with their ciders from South Somerset

Soft drinks
Organic and additive free soft drinks, fruit juices and squash.

Gas, BBQ essentials, Firewood and non-foods

Gas
We stock the following sizes - 907, 904, C206, C500, C250, CP100 (aerosol type), CP250, CV300plus, CV270, CV470, 4.5kg, 7kg, 3.9kg, 6kg. We also stock a few gas regulators. Please let us know in advance if you require a different size, or a regulator, and we will do our best to source it for you.

BBQ gear
We have disposable BBQs, charcoal, firelighters, firewood, lighters, utensils and pans.

Tent gear
Tent pegs and guy ropes. We do not stock poles as there are so many different types, however we have a lot of used poles and our site staff will often help you put together something serviceable.

Non Foods
A range of non foods including batteries, suncream, can openers, kites, cleaning products and health and beauty products.

If you cannot see what you want, or have some special requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to source it for you.

Pop-up shops

Within our Farm Shop, we pride ourselves in supporting local suppliers, which means we can stock an amazing selection of local ciders, beers and ales as well as award winning wines, sparkling wines for special occasions, and spirits for keeping warm around the fire. Each year, we love to invite suppliers to run a pop-up stand just outside of the Farm Shop to promote their products.
